Summary:

A couple disturbances will move through the northwest flow aloft today, bringing the best opportunity for precipitation across the CA/OR border area, length of the Sierra, and points east across the state of NV. Amounts will generally range from 0.25" to 0.50".
Westerly flow aloft will dominate conditions into next week as the storm track remains to the north of the area. Temperatures will rebound and fluctuate closer to normal.
Melt-driven rises on most streams are expected to decrease with cooler temperatures and recent cloud cover.
Several points along the Humboldt River continue to exceed monitor stage and are forecasted to reach flood stage within the next several days.
