CNRFC - Research/Outreach - NetCDF File Information

*** IMPORTANT *** Week of June 16 - Website Data Outage - Due to a major computer upgrade the week of June 16, nearly all data on the CNRFC web site will not be updated. We anticipate the down time to be approximately 4 days. The latest deterministic hydrologic forecasts for official forecast points will continue to be available at the National Water Prediction Service during this time.

CNRFC NetCDF File Information

The CNRFC archived netCDF grids use a subset of a larger grid domain known as "HRAP" (Hydrologic Rainfall Analysis Project). The projection is Polar Stereographic. More information about the HRAP grid can be found here: http://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/docs/on388/tableb.html#GRID240. Files can be downloaded from the CNRFC Data Archive. All CNRFC NetCDF files are in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
